Saturday. 27th [December 1890]. Passini came to continue Henry’s portrait & Mr Moore came to photo: Ola & Nela in their Christmas evening costumes & remained to lunch with us. I practised guitar. Afterwards went out in gondola with Henry & Nela. Mr Browning came to tea with us. Henry took Nela to opera to hear the “Forza del Destino” at the Rossini—not very well done. Ola went to bed with a cold. | |
