12 April 1891 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 12th [April 1891]. Remained in bed till after luncheon– Having a cold & headache– When I went downstairs I found Don Carlo d’Adda calling. He sat with me some time. Had a visit from 2 ladies, Miss Dundas & Miss Douglas who brought letters from Mlle de Bunsen– Later to tea came Ninina Brandolin & Mme d’Adda, a Miss Coment, Miss Trollope, Hilda & Henrietta Montalba & Idita Bentivoglio & Mme Hurtado. The Bents came to arrange abt cotillion. Ida Belmondo also came & stayed to dinner, but at 6 I had to go back to bed as I felt so unwell. | |
