25 April 1891 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 25th [April 1891]. I was better & able to start & we went by the 9 o’cl train to Milan. At Padua we left Ola who was to go & stay with Css Pisani until joined by Alice & Hallam Murray who are just returning from their journey to Australia in search of health for Hallam & will bring Ola home. Got to Milan abt 3. Had tea & then Nela & I went to Canzi’s work shop. It was a pouring wet day so we came straight back to the Hotel Cavour. Found Sr Frizzoni paying Henry a visit. He had been with Morelli when he died & came to tell Henry all about it. Dined at 7, & went early to bed. | |
