Sunday. 21st [June 1891]. Maria came in after breakfast & I walked to St George’s Hanover Sqr for church– The church in which I was married. Nela & Daisy came to lunch with us & we 4 drove down to Ham to Lady Lindsay’s cottage & sat on the lawn there & had tea– It was beautiful & the rhododendrons all out—& most pleasant—we returned home for dinner– Mrs de la Ferriere (née Hambro) & Nelly Alderson dined with us. | |
