25 October 1891 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 25th October [1891]. Went to morning church with all our party 3 Du Canes, Sir Domenic & Mr Williams. Then after luncheon we went to the Lido—in gondola & sandolo & took our tea there– The weather was not propitious & before we finished our tea the rain began to come down—but gently. We landed at 4 Fontane. Mme Hurtado & Idita called late. I played harmonium in evening. | |
