19 December 1891 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 19th [December 1891]. Mrs Burr came & sat with me in the morng. Maria & the girls went with Ct Belmondo after lunch to see the Arsenal. Henry & I walked in the Piazza & got Christmas presents. Maria & Ola went to tea with the Pss of Montenegro. Isabel Scobell came to tea with Ruth & me– I read aloud to Henry before dinner. | |
