13 March 1892 — Villa Pisani, Vescovana | |
Sunday. 13th [March 1892]. A furious snowstorm which lasted without ceasing till sunset—& a howling wind– No stirring out all day. I painted bottle gourds nearly all day ornamenting them with flowers &c. Read aloud to Henry & eat hearty meals finishing up with hot negus before bedtime. | |
