12 March 1892 — Villa Pisani, Vescovana | |
Saturday. 12th [March 1892]. A lovely day & hardly a trace of snow left. After lunch we all went out to walk in the garden even Css Pisani who went about looking to see for the flowers that were coming up in different parts & it was so warm in the sun that Henry had a chair brought out & sat a little while on the terrace in front of the house. After tea I read aloud to Henry till dinner. It was a splendid starlit night & not very cold– | |
