11 March 1892 — Villa Pisani, Vescovana | |
Friday. 11th March [1892]. Woke to find deep snow & a regular snowstorm going on. It did not last & the blue sky soon reappeared & a thaw. I painted 2 bottle gourds for Css Pisani which took me all the morning & after lunch till 4. Took a turn with Henry in garden. The Css Pisani did not come up to tea having business. I read aloud to Henry before dinner. Guitar & Mandola duetts in eveng– | |
