11 June 1892 — Amiens
Saturday. 11th June [1892]. Dawdled to the cathedral in the morng. Left by 11.50 train for Boulogne. Had a good crossing. Nela & I lay down in the Private cabin. Henry sat & read the newspaper by us. Ola sat up on the upper deck. On arriving at Folkestone Henry got us a carriage to ourselves & we made ourselves tea. Got to Charing Cross a good deal behind time. Maria & Ruth met Ola & Nela & carried them off home & Henry & I went home to 1 Queen Anne St. I went at once to see Blanche & Mama. Met Edward coming to see us & he walked back with me. Blanche came in from a water party. They had not expected us till tomorrow—by some mistake. Henry & I went up to dine at Park Crescent with the Du Canes.
