Friday. 15th [July 1892]. We lunched with Ct & Css Hierschel di Minerbi the Ct is 1st Secy at the Italian Embassy. We met the Duke of Aosta & it was a long function & we only got home to tea. We dined at Holly Lodge Hampstead with Baroness & Mr Burdett Coutts & met Mr & Mrs H. M. Stanley & Sir John Dibbs Prime Minister of Australia—a fine looking man & very pleasant. | |
