Monday. 1st August [1892]. Bank Holiday. Practised guitar. Wrote. After lunch I went down to National Gallery on foot with Henry. We wanted to see if there were many people there. There were a great many all very orderly & evidently enjoying the pictures. Took a cab home. We dined with the Ponsonbys. Mr & Lady Louisa were there. Home early. | |
