Thursday. 4th [August 1892]. I practised guitar in morning. After lunch took a walk with Henry & he bought me the green parrot I wanted. He & I went to the theatre in the evening to see Toole in “Walker London”—a broad farce & very vulgar. The piece is well got up & Toole is wonderful in his get up as a youngish man; being no longer young. | |
