Friday. 2nd September [1892]. I went up to town by morning train with Mrs Rate. I tried on dresses at Mme Rigal. Alice Rate went to the dentist & we met at 1 Q. Anne St & then shopped together. Lunched at 1, then shopped again & returned to Milton by tea time. | |
