24 September 1892 — Brunnsee Castle, nr. Spielfeld | |
Saturday. 24th [September 1892]. We left Brunnsee with great regret at 8 this morning. The Duke accompanied us to the station in his carriage & four & we went to Spielfeld for the 9.26 train. Ola bore the journey well & we reached Spittal abt 6. Went to the Hotel zum alten Post. Very comfortable & clean but the eating room close to the door & every one smoking during meals. Ola did not come down but went straight to bed– I shared her room– Played patience with Henry till bed time. | |
