27 November 1892 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 27th [November 1892]. I went to church in the morning. Henry & Stella was so much better that they went out walking on the Zattere where I fetched them after service. In the afternoon I meant to go again to church but I began to try over some of Stella’s accompaniments with her & missed the time. Mr & Mrs Felix Moscheles came to tea & told us that the B. & Bss de Pury wish to let their apartment at S. Barnaba wh I thought might suit the Dyers if they come here for the winter. Later we had visits from Mr & Mrs Curtis & Clara & Mr Montalba. Mr Woods & Belmondo dined with us & in the evening Stella played to us, I accompanying her on the piano. | |
