16 March 1893 — Villa Pisani, Vescovana | |
Thursday. 16th [March 1893]. Breakfast in our rooms at ¼ to 8. Packed, took a walk in the garden with the Css to plan out a ruin of a temple of Baal in the mockery & then started at 11.30 to drive to St Elena & returned to Venice taking Ola with us. We got home for 2 o’cl lunch. Unpacked, arranged plants &c. Mr & Mrs Dyer & Stella called & came up to the studio to see us. I read aloud to Henry. Dined at 8. | |
