Tuesday. 16th May [1893]. I wrote in bed till 12 & then got up but was not feeling well. M & Mme Castellani & Sr Trombini came to bid me good bye before lunch. I was taken very faint at lunch & had to retire & eventually was deposited in my bed by Ola & Bertha. I got better by the evening & was able to see Iduna Belmondo who brought me the pearl necklace Henry had deputed her to get for me. It is a lovely row—the pearls are much larger than my first old row. Ola & Bertha completed all my packing for me & on . | |
