8 June 1893 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Thursday. 8th [June 1893]. I drove with Henry in the afternoon & we went to Eaton Sqr to call for Ola but she was no longer there. We drove in the Park & suddenly our coachman began to race another carriage ending up by cutting in front & turning round he began to make faces at the coachman of the other carriage. Imagine our indignation & Henry remonstrated with our man & let him know we should send him away if it ever happened again. Henry dined with the Rates. Ola came & dined with me as Nela went to the Military tournament. Mildred to lunch. | |
