10 June 1893 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Saturday. 10th June [1893]. Went for a drive in afternoon with Nela & went for Maria who accompanied us & we went about leaving cards. On the way home we were stopped at Hyde Park Corner by the Local Veto Procession of temperance people going to the Park– After abt 20 minutes when part of them had gone in we were allowed to pass up Piccadilly but the procession of men, carts, banners, carriages extended as far as one could see & we turned up a side street & went home. We all 4 dined at home & went to bed early. | |
