Wednesday. 29th [November 1893]. Nela & I hurried off to the studio as Mr Woods had promised to come & over look us wh he kindly did. Henry was better but did not come downstairs. After lunch I went off to see Mrs Leigh who was at home at the Hotel Danielli & arranged that she should take 2 of our girls to the Opera tonight to see the Pagliacci—Pamela & Nela went & dined with her– The rest of us dined upstairs in the boudoir. | |
