4 December 1893 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 4th December [1893]. Nela & I hastened off to the studio as Mr Woods had sent word he would come. He was encouraging to me & said I was doing better. We came home by the iron bridge & by the traghetto S. Tomà. I went out in afternoon with Henry & he left me at Css Canevaro’s & I walked home. Mme Noce & Mrs Hulton came to tea to meet Mrs Blundell Leigh. Henry’s cold is better at last & he went out for a little while. Ida Bel dined with us. | |
