5 December 1893 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 5th December [1893]. Nela & I went to the studio & worked from the model. Afterwards we went round to the Edens with a message from Henry & then hurried home to lunch being put across home from the Traghetto Giorgone. After lunch I practised the guitar & then went to tea with Edens. Walked there. Henry went out with the girls to walk on the Zattere. It was fine but cold– Pamela & Ola went to Css Canevaro to sing with her. Ola joined me at the Edens & we came home in the gondola– I gave a guitar lesson to Lina. Read aloud to Henry. Played guitar with Ola’s mandoline & I played harmonium. | |
