15 January 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 15th January [1894]. Went to the studio in morning. Went for a walk with Henry in afternoon in the public gardens. It was bitterly cold—a hard frost & the snow was lying 6 inches deep every where a narrow path being merely swept down the centre of each walk. It was not pleasant. Naya’s man came to photograph some of our pictures for the Ferrarese Exhibition in London. Mme Landauer came to tea. | |
