16 April 1894 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Monday. 16th [April 1894]. I went off with Augusta Gregory at 11 AM to Mme Rigal’s & we ordered ourselves spring dresses—then on to Exeter St Sloane St to order bonnets & then came home to lunch, It was a very showery day. Augusta took Robert out to amuse him & I sat with Henry who got up at 3 & was on the sofa in my room till 6. Augustus Alderson came to lunch with me being up in town for 2 days. At 5 I went in a hansom to Eaton Sqr to have tea with Lady Kentsford & we talked on housekeeping & furniture. I walked on to Gros. Gardens & left a card on Css Lützow & then walked across St James Park home– Mr Rate dined with us & sat with Henry in the eveng. | |
