21 July 1894 — Chenies | |
Saturday. 21st July [1894]. Warm & cloudy. We took a long drive in the afternoon—& had the Victoria & poney carriage—& all went the Ponsonbys, Nurse, Gwyneth, & I. I went part of the way with Blanche in the Victoria & the rest of the time with Edward in the poney carriage– Blanche sat with me in the eveng talking over these past sad days—& at last I felt a little less stony & was able to cry & feel– | |
