10 November 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 10th November [1894]. I spent all the morning in the library looking over with Edward Henry’s letters. After lunch Blanche & Onie went with Ola for a walk. I took Edward first to the Piazza and then went to the Eden’s garden. Found Mrs Eden & May Parnell there & had tea with them in the Palm House & came home rather late & it was chilly tho’ there was a lovely sunset & the Euganean hills looked quite close. Ersilia C. came in abt 6 & sat for an hour talking to us. | |
