17 December 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 17th December [1894]. Wrote in morning. Fine morng but it turned foggy. I did not go out. Lay on the sofa in my room to get warm & read. Iduna came to me there & we had tea together. Ola went to the station to meet Henry & Elaine Guest who arrived at 9.30 from Milan. Dr Cini came today & prescribed for my rheumatism. Played patience in evening. I had a great row with Biraghi in the morng. | |
