18 December 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 18th [December 1894]. Had bad news again of Mamma. Telegraphed to enquire. Put together things for our journey to Egypt. After lunch Ola walked with Henry Guest & I went with Elaine in gondola. We all met in the Piazza & went into S. Mark’s. Iduna came to tea & Mlle Kwekwitsch called. Played Patience with Hy Guest in evening. Mr Dyer called in evening. | |
