11 February 1895 — On the Nile | |
Monday. 11th [February 1895]. Left at early morning. It was very cold & windy. Elaine & I remained all day in my cabin & cut out a boddice & worked at it. We got just before sunset to Maghagha & all went on shore for a few minutes walk but it soon became dark. In eveng played Alphabet games with the Princesses Duleep Sing. | |
