27 March 1895 — Cairo | |
Wednesday. 27th March [1895]. Sat out of doors & sketched in the garden of the hotel a view of the “Harem.” After lunch returned to it till 4. Lady Victoria Lambton, Elaine & Aline went to Roda Island to tea with Mr Justice Cameron. I stayed here. Lady W. & Mr Biddulph came to tea with me. I wrote some letters amongst others to Lady Aberdare. Lady Alfred & Miss Churchill came to call. | |
