10 April 1895 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 10th April [1895]. I spent the morning copying & drawing of Brugnoli. At 4 Elaine & I went out in gondola to the Eden’s garden & there met Mme Wiel & the Dss of Northumberland her aunt, & Sir Richard & Lady Musgrave who are on their honeymoon—afterwards Elaine & I went on the lagoons and painted a sunset. | |
