Friday. 12th [April 1895]. Good Friday. Went to morning service with Elaine at 10.30. Ola went to a 3 hour’s service beginning at 12 so Elaine & I lunched alone & afterwards Brugnoli came & gave his painting lesson. Lord St Levan called on me being here with his family en route for Florence & having just lost a son in deep mourning. | |
