13 April 1895 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 13th April [1895]. Painted all morning. Went out at 2 with Elaine in Mr Eden’s launch. He took us to his Vigna at St Erasmo & we picked hawthorn & peach blossoms. It was a coldish day & began to blow. I left Elaine at the Eden’s garden to take tea & came home walking part of the way. The Curtis & Della Grazias came to see me at 6. | |
