Friday. 3rd May [1895]. Packed & arranged things. Mr Carey called also Iduna Belmondo. After lunch Mrs Eden looked in. Mme Wiel came to dinner & was by way of going out with the girls to see the Serenado but it rained & so the fete cd not take place at all– Clara & Hilda Montalba & their bro. came to see us after tea time & to take leave of us. | |
