Saturday. 18th May [1895]. Monty came in the morning very hot at the idea of my going to him at Savile Row. I promised to think of it. Mr Rate happening to come to see me just after I consulted him & he advises me to think it over. Connie came to lunch & I drove her out to leave cards &c & came home alone to tea. Feeling very miserable & weary. Had a visit from Lady Wilfreda Biddulph & a talk to her abt her sister Sophy’s plans & agreed I would ask Sophy to come with me to Weymouth. Had a visit from Ola. | |
