4 June 1895 — Bessborough, Fiddown, County Kilkenny | |
Tuesday. 4th June [1895]. Went out with Blanche in the pony carriage & to the home farm & she called on Mrs Lyons the clergyman’s wife. Lord Waterford & his daughter Lady Susan Beresford & Col. Stewart came to luncheon. B & E took them out after lunch. I remained indoors & finished knitting a shawl for Kate Alderson’s bazaar at Lutterworth. When the guests were gone about 7 B & I drove out in victoria & went to post the shawl. | |
