Saturday. 15th June [1895]. Woke up with a bad headache & so I remained in bed all day. Maria came & sat with me some time. Elaine paid me a visit. Constance Eliot dined here & Nela Du Cane & the former sat with me after dinner. She was very depressed & unhappy about her boy Earnie who gives her much trouble. | |
