17 June 1895 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Monday. 17th [June 1895]. Breakfast in my room at 8. Down at 10. Did accounts. Visit from Lady V. Lambton. Later from Mrs Rate. Eda Alderson came at lunch time to stay with me from Peterboro. Drove with her went to house agent to enquire for houses & also to shop. Returned at 4.30 for tea. Aline Lambton & Mr Mossop now regularly fiancéd came. Maria & Nela came after & Eda & I accompanied them to their home & left them there—then took a little walk & returned home to dinner. Had a quiet evening with Eda– | |
