21 October 1895 — 40 Half Moon Street | |
Monday. 21st [October 1895]. I went to Dr Chamberlain abt my teeth from 10 to 11. When I returned to Savile Row I expected Monty there but he never came all day. We worked at hanging pictures in the drawing room– Back to 5 o’cl tea at Half Moon St. Eda went to dine with Lady Gregory & accompanied her to the opera to hear Wagners Walkerie. Nelly & I had high tea at 8. I slept in Arthur’s room he being away. | |
