| 14 November 1895 — 3 Savile Row | |
| Thursday. 14th [November 1895]. Wrote. Sophy Palmer came to see me at 12.30. She wrote letters till lunch & afterwards we had a long talk & she told me all about Lord Selborne’s last moments & her own plans– I drove with her to Victoria Station & saw her off by 4 o’cl train for Addington as she is going to stay with the Archbishop. From the station I walked to Q. Anne’s Mansions—did not find Lady Gregory—got caught in the rain & had to hurry home. Eda out—dined alone. | |
