Sunday. 24th November [1895]. I arranged books in early morng. To church at St Georges at 11 met Du Canes there & sat in their pew & they accompanied me home & then departed to their lunch. Blanche & Edward came & the latter stayed to lunch with me & sat talking till 4. I only slept here last night & I saw him before church & he left again this afternoon. Louis Du Cane came to call—& then Arthur Du Cane. Lady Gregory came to dinner. | |
