2 December 1895 — 3 Savile Row
Monday. 2nd [December 1895]. Miss Una Taylor came to look over my fans & lace for loan to the Spanish Exhibition at the New Gallery. Maria & Nela called at the same time. Aline Lambton came to luncheon & then I walked her back to Eaton Place where she is staying & then walked back to St James’ Place & picked up Augusta Gregory & we went off in a hansom to the Temple to have tea with Arthur Du Cane. Met there Mr F. Thesiger who has married Ivor’s daughter Francie & whom I had not see before—& a Mr Wilson—both agreeable. Augusta went to her home by underground rail & I walked home with Arthur DC.
