6 December 1895 — 3 Savile Row
Friday. 6th December [1895]. Busy all the morning arranging Henry’s letters. Miss Hogarth came to lunch & we walked together afterwards. I went to see Buttery about fetching Henry’s mother’s portrait to be relined. There I tramped in search of a bookcase as I want to get all the books under glass—for they get ruined by London dirt & dust. I went up to Tottenham Court road was not successful. It was impossible to find a case with glass doors & I got home at 5 tired. Augusta Gregory dined with me.
