19 December 1895 — 3 Savile Row
Thursday. 19th [December 1895]. Went out in the morning in search of Dr Chamberlain’s remplaçant to have my teeth looked to & found he is Dr Field in 23 Park St. Came home to lunch. At 3.30 Addie Bedford fetched me & we went to Southwark to the Bd School Christmas treat which was held at Mr Dodge’s Hall. Remained there about an hour. Saw the children have their tea & dance & left them very happy. Addie took me to her home to tea & then I walked back here. Met there pretty Mrs Arkwright her cousin.
