Friday. 20th [December 1895]. Arranged & sorted some of Henry’s letters. Marie & Issie DC. came to see me in the morng & I kept them to luncheon & Ivor & Cornelia who were passing thro’ town came to luncheon. I walked with Maria as far as her door & then returned. Sir Henry Thompson came to dine with me. It was the first time he had been out since he was ill. He left soon after 10. | |
