21 December 1895 — 3 Savile Row | |
Saturday. 21st [December 1895]. Wrote in morng & went out at 12.30 to the dentist. After lunch I took a cab & went to see Lady Aberdare & sat sometime with her. Came home at 4.30. Nela & Issie DC. came to tea—& then Connie who stayed chatting till 7. I type wrote in the evening. The Americans seem a little less excited—& find all Europe against their pretensions. | |
