17 February 1896 — 3 Savile Row | |
Monday. 17th February [1896]. We had a model in the morning a boy & painted till lunch—& afterwards I & Nelly walked out together to call on Mrs Rate who sent me word she was ill—but she was out so we went in to see Mr Rate who was at home & then we walked round by Bond Street & home. Evely Eliot came to tea with me. Addie Bedford came in the morning to see me shortly before lunch. I went to dine with Blanche Lady Lindsay at Hans Place & we were quite alone & I came home early. | |
