18 February 1896 — 3 Savile Row | |
Tuesday. 18th [February 1896]. We had the dark haired model in the morning & worked hard till lunch. Afterwards Nelly & I walked out & chose some linen for Emilia Riaño to be sent to her at Madrid. After we walked to Evans in Oxford St & thence home. We took Turk the show dog with us. Miss Oswald called to speak about the M.S. she be typewriting for me. Nelly dined with me & I read some of the “Young Duke” to her in the eveng (by Disraeli). | |
