18 April 1896 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 18th [April 1896]. Sat with Mrs Rate in morning. After lunch took them to the Venezia Murano & then to the Public gardens to walk & home to tea. Mrs Dawkins called & went up to see Aline who was up for a little while. Visit from Mlle Aspasia, Olga Montenegro’s aunt. Taught Mrs Rate patience in the evening & the sposi went out. | |
